Sorbet is water, sugar and fruit pulp. Unlike ice creams, they don't contain fat. And if you can, go for organic products - with natural flavours. If you do, don't forget to replace the traditional sugar that you find in all sorbet recipes with a sweetener (if possible natural). Pineapple, apple or lemon sorbets are less calorific than those made with banana or pear. Make the right decisions!
